天のいずみ

そこに ひとつのいずみがあり
子供の 喜びのように
清らかな 水があふれている
そこに ひとつのいずみがあり
人は 故郷の言葉を 思い出す
初めて覚えた唄を ふいに 口ずさむ
そこに ひとつのいずみがあり
昼下がりの ある日
人は ゆっくりと 今より ずっと昔を思い出す
時間がなかった頃
世界が笑っていた日を 思い出す
水が流れ 水があふれている
太古 人が荒野をさまよい
初めて たどり着いた 大切ないずみのように
清らかな 喜びと共に
この水を 掬おう
この水で のどを潤そう
水の声に 耳を澄まそう
そこに ひとつのいずみがあり
子供のあこがれのように 水があふれている
この限りない水の光の 伸びやかさの中で
手をつなごう
水の輪が つながれていくように
柔らかく 自然に 結ばれていこう
水よ この星の願いを
水に託して
しずかに やさしく
噴き上げよ
地球が いつか 水の輪に還ることを
すべてが 癒され
人と人を しずかに包み
やがて つながれていくことを
水よ 大らかに 真直ぐに
どこまでも どこまでも
高く 噴き上げよ
Heavenly Spring

There,
In the Heavens,
There is one spring
where Water is flowing purely like the joy of children.
There is one spring
where we can remember the language of our own birthplace,
recall the melodies mother sang to us in our childhood.
There is one spring where
One day, early in the afternoon,
Unexpectedly,
We can slowly recall ancient times,
recollect the era when there was no time,
when the world was laughing.
This Water is flowing and overflowing.
Let’s scoop up this Water respectfully
With pure and innocent joy
As if it were the precious Water of the first source
Found at last after wandering in the wilderness from ancient times.
Let’s moisten our throats with this Water.
Let’s listen to the voice of this Water.
There is one spring
where Water is overflowing like the longing of children,
And we are enveloped
by the infinite light of Water,
by the relaxed feeling of freedom.
Let’s hold hands with one another,
And link our minds softly and spontaneously,
In the whirlpools of the spring.
Water,
Trusting our planet earth’s wish for harmony,
Spring forth your water
Calmly and tenderly.
Someday,
May the Earth return to a bond of Water
So that everything will be healed.
Then this feeling will envelope all beings peacefully.
May the spirit of Water ever link us.
Water,
Brim over
Generously, benevolently.
Well up, pure Water,
endlessly.
